> US envoy Jared Kushner met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for more than four hours and urged him to advance the Trump-backed Gaza ceasefire plan without creating obstacles, according to an Israeli source familiar with the talks. Netanyahu called progress on the 15-point plan “problematic” ahead of Israel’s elections at the end of October.
