WorldIran says US violations make 60-day negotiation period ‘no longer relevant’

Iran says talks with the United States never began because Washington breached a memorandum of understanding meant to enable negotiations on sanctions and Tehran’s nuclear programme. Its Foreign Ministry spokesperson accused the US of “gross and widespread violations” weeks after the memorandum was signed and said the agreed 60-day period is no longer relevant.
