SocietyAndy Burnham calls Jason Arday’s death ‘a tragedy on so many levels’

UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham described the death of former Cambridge professor Jason Arday as “a tragedy on so many levels” and urged a “moment for reflection”. Arday, 41, was found dead at a Battersea address in south London on Friday afternoon. He had resigned from his sociology of education professorship the previous week amid plagiarism allegations and questions about some achievements, which he denied.
