Julia Lau of the ISEAS Yusof Ishak Institute said Indonesian President Prabowo’s state of the nation address on Friday stood out for its measured and humble tone. He acknowledged continuing challenges and highlighted government programmes in health, nutrition, education and economic development, while replacing an 8% growth ambition with a more realistic 6% target.
