Israel’s defence minister says troops will not withdraw from Lebanon, Syria or Gaza. During a visit to soldiers in southern Lebanon, Israel Katz said the military was destroying every home in the area where it was operating. Rami Khouri, a Distinguished Public Policy Fellow at the American University of Beirut, commented on the issue.
