SocietyGrab, safety and rider associations launch course for delivery riders

Grab and rider and safety associations have introduced a new safety course designed around the demands faced by motorcycle delivery riders. Training covers balancing heavy loads at the rear, moving through tight spaces and responding safely to real-world road conditions. The initiative comes as fatalities among platform workers rise. Four people died in the first half of 2026, compared with two in 2025. Some of the fatal incidents involved other road users.
