ScienceTotal solar eclipse to be visible across Europe

Millions of people across Europe are expected to witness a total solar eclipse later on Wednesday, beginning at 15:34 GMT. Skywatchers in North America and North Africa will also have an opportunity to see a partial eclipse. Weather conditions could determine whether roughly one in eight people worldwide gets a view of the celestial event.
