WorldColombia earthquake death toll rises above 200 as rescuers search for survivors

The death toll from Monday’s earthquake in Colombia has climbed above 200 and is expected to rise further as rescue teams search collapsed buildings. Cali, among the hardest-hit areas, has become the focus of volunteers and emergency workers digging through the rubble for survivors. No one has yet been found alive at a collapsed apartment building, although volunteers say they heard a man’s voice beneath the debris. A doctor was rescued alive from another collapsed structure.
