> First-time candidate Darline Graham has advanced to the Republican runoff for the U.S. Senate in South Carolina. She had long remained close to the political orbit of her brother, Lindsey Graham. Her campaign faced skepticism because of her limited experience, but she overcame those doubts while seeking to replace him. The contest now moves to a GOP runoff.
