> The United Nations Security Council is meeting over the situation in the West Bank. Israel’s military has closed the village of Taybeh to people who do not live there. Israel says the measure was intended to prevent attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinians across the West Bank from increasing. The council session follows that move.
