WorldTrump hardens stance on Iran as Nvidia taps Wall Street for $500 billion plan

US President Donald Trump took a tougher position toward Iran while talks continued on reopening the Strait of Hormuz. He declared that the Islamic Republic must pay reparations for past attacks. Trump said Tehran had sought compensation for war damage in public statements, although negotiators had never raised the issue. Separately, major US investment firms, including Apollo Global Management, Blackstone, BlackRock and Brookfield, are being tapped by Nvidia for a $500 billion financing effort.
