# Mercedes Loses Ground in China’s Premium Auto Market

Xiaomi delivered more than 80,000 similarly priced SU7 sedans over the same period. BMW, Volkswagen and Porsche are facing comparable difficulties, each reporting a second-quarter sales decline of at least 30%. That was worse than the contraction in China’s overall auto market.
