> President Donald Trump is demanding that Iran pay compensation after Tehran said its conditions for opening the Strait of Hormuz had not been met. Iran’s demands included payment for war damages and the lifting of sanctions. Uncertainty surrounding the strait has pushed oil prices higher. Inside Iran, Mohsen Rezaei has been named the new security chief, alongside six appointments to the Revolutionary Guards and armed forces.
