EconomyMitchnick Says There Is ‘Overwhelming Demand’ for Crypto ETFs

Robert Mitchnick, BlackRock’s head of digital assets, says demand for cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds is “overwhelming.” The comments come as hackers have reportedly taken more than $130 million worth of Bitcoin from thousands of wallets considered secure cold storage in recent days. The Coldcard wallet breach could weaken investor confidence in holding assets themselves. That loss of confidence may strengthen the argument for spot Bitcoin ETFs as an alternative investment vehicle.
