HealthLIVE: Trump signs order calling for childhood vaccines to be spaced out

President Donald Trump is set to sign an executive order on Monday directing a revision of childhood vaccine recommendations. A White House fact sheet says the revised guidance would encourage administering shots during separate medical visits. The approach reflects Trump’s long-standing belief that childhood vaccinations should be spread out rather than given together. The order is presented as a change to vaccine recommendations, not as a specific new vaccination schedule in the statement.
