PoliticsCount Binface, the man in a can with a plan, seeks seat in UK's wackiest election

Comic candidate Count Binface is seeking a seat in a special British election. He presents himself as a 5,000-year-old intergalactic space warrior and campaigns with a garbage can on his head. The contest was mocked as a farce even before almost three dozen candidates entered the ballot, many from the deliberately silly end of politics. For the perennial candidate, the timing appears to be part of the comedy as well as the political opportunity.
