> A CNN investigation examines the evidence cited to justify the US military’s Operation Southern Spear against alleged drug boats. Senator Tim Kaine told the White House that a careful review of classified information suggested the strikes likely killed people who were not involved in narcotrafficking. In a letter to President Donald Trump, the Virginia Democrat described those killed as murder victims. The campaign has reportedly killed at least 221 people and destroyed at least 67 vessels so far.
