WorldThai school shooting suspect learned firearm use through social media: police

Thai police say a teenage suspect in a recent school shooting consumed violent online material and used social media to learn about firearms. The attack killed nine people, including the gunman, making it the deadliest mass killing in Thailand since 2022. A 12-year-old student later died in hospital from injuries and became the latest victim. More than 20 people were wounded. Authorities believe the suspect developed an interest in firearms one or two years ago.
