WorldEmergency declared as Canada wildfire doubles in size

A fast-moving wildfire in a remote area of western Canada has doubled in size since it was detected on Friday. Authorities have declared a state of emergency as thousands of residents were forced to leave their homes. The Bald Range wildfires led to the largest evacuation of the summer, with officials saying more than 20,000 people across British Columbia have evacuated. The number of buildings destroyed remains unclear.
