> A diplomatic dispute between Spain and Italy over the arrival of tens of thousands of migrants in the Spanish territory of Ceuta has intensified. Madrid introduced border controls on Italian travelers after Rome imposed sanctions on visitors from Spain. The measures took effect overnight. Italian arrivals at Barcelona airport were then subjected to random police checks, according to Spain’s state news agency EFE.
