PoliticsKosovo lawmaker throws eggs at acting prime minister

An opposition lawmaker in Kosovo threw eggs toward acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti after he said he needed more time to negotiate with other parties. Kurti was speaking in parliament before proposing a candidate for speaker following the country’s snap election in June. Alliance party MP Time Kadrijaj took eggs from her bag and shouted “shame, shame” as she threw them. Kosovo has remained locked in political deadlock for nearly two years.
