Palestinians made their way to the beach in Gaza City to find relief from the intense summer heat. Much of the Gaza Strip remains in ruins after more than two years of war. The shoreline has become one of the few recreational options still available to Palestinians there. For many, it offers a temporary escape from the soaring temperatures.
