> Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan have concluded a landmark defense agreement in Mecca. The pact is portrayed as one of the most consequential security developments in the Middle East in decades. It calls for the three countries to deepen military cooperation, share intelligence and provide collective defense. Under its terms, an armed attack against one member would be treated as an attack against the others.
