> Republican Sen. Bill Cassidy said Friday that he will support Todd Blanche’s nomination to become attorney general. Cassidy’s decision likely clears an important path for Blanche’s confirmation. If confirmed, Blanche would lead President Donald Trump’s Justice Department. The statement concerns a pending Senate vote on Trump’s nominee.
