> Thousands gathered outside Argentina’s Senate on Thursday to oppose a controversial private property bill. The protest ended with clashes, tear gas and rubber bullets being used. Javier Milei’s government removed the legislation’s most contentious provision, which would have increased limits on foreign ownership of land. The change, however, did not calm the anger surrounding the bill.
