> President Donald Trump says negotiations with Iran over the Strait of Hormuz are making progress, while warning that Iran would face a severe attack if it abandons the talks. The top US and British diplomats also met and stressed the importance of safe passage through the waterway and Iran’s denuclearization. A House committee focused on China says US subsidiaries of three Chinese state-owned telecom companies remain deeply embedded in American internet infrastructure years after their operating licenses were revoked. China’s new exit-and-entry rules and the removal of Baghdad Aviation from a US sanctions list are also drawing attention.
