PoliticsSenate votes to hold Fauci in contempt over refusal to answer COVID questions

The Senate voted along party lines to hold Anthony Fauci in contempt for refusing to answer questions about COVID. The vote came one week after Fauci invoked his Fifth Amendment right during a hearing. The action centers on his decision not to respond to questions at that session. It marks a formal congressional response to his refusal.
