WorldPezeshkian says contacting Iran’s new supreme leader is ‘very difficult’

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said it has been “very difficult” to contact the country’s new supreme leader. His comments came as speculation continued about Mojtaba Khamenei’s whereabouts and health. Khamenei was reportedly wounded in the strike that killed his father during the opening minutes of the war on Feb. 28. He has not appeared publicly since then.
