> Israel has launched another wave of air strikes across southern Lebanon after two Israeli soldiers died in an explosion near the border. Several towns, including Al-Mansouri and Bourj El-Shemali, were hit. The attacks came while a US-backed ceasefire technically remains in force. Israeli and Lebanese officials are meeting in Rome in an effort to preserve the truce, as residents fear the violence could develop into a return to full-scale conflict.
