Odesa, in south-western Ukraine, is the country’s third-largest city and was once an economic powerhouse. With Russia occupying most of Ukraine’s coastline, the region has taken on even greater importance. Residents nevertheless continue with their everyday routines. BBC correspondent Paul Adams travelled to Odesa as Russia intensified its war at sea. His report includes the sound of drones, air-raid sirens and a journey with the navy.
