Iran says it has reached an agreement with Oman on a route for ships crossing the Strait of Hormuz. The two countries are finalising arrangements to jointly manage the strategic waterway. Foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said they had reached an understanding on shipping routes and were working through additional details. Al Jazeera’s Tohid Asadi reported live from Tehran.
