> Russian drone and missile attacks on Ukrainian targets have intensified in recent months, placing growing pressure on Ukraine’s air defences. A large-scale overnight assault in the Kyiv region killed at least 17 people and injured dozens more. Many of the weapons causing the destruction contain components manufactured in Western countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany. Mikey Kay, a former senior British military officer, explains how those components feature in the weapons.
