SocietyNDP 2026: Sign language interpreters help deaf community follow the celebrations

As Singapore gets ready to mark National Day, a team is working behind the scenes to make the festivities accessible to people with hearing loss. Rashidah Zulkifli is one of three sign language interpreters assigned to this year’s National Day Parade. Their work helps members of the deaf community follow the celebrations. The effort places inclusion at the centre of the event’s presentation.
