PoliticsSingapore to simplify approval processes for some commercial spaces

Singapore is seeking to reduce red tape so businesses can save time and money. Approval procedures for certain commercial spaces will soon be streamlined. Qualifying medical clinics in commercial buildings will need approval only from the Health Ministry. Businesses at the Changi Airport development switching operations will likewise require approval only from the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. Separate applications to the Urban Redevelopment Authority will no longer be needed.
