Singapore MP Patrick Tay said three principles are vital to creating an economy that benefits everyone: safeguarding the rules, sharing the gains and strengthening the Singaporean core. Speaking in Parliament, he described the effort as difficult, continuous collective work rather than a slogan. Tay said the Economic Strategy Review provides Singapore with a comprehensive roadmap for remaining globally competitive. He also highlighted the task facing the labour movement in advancing that effort.
