WorldNetanyahu says Israel has yet to agree to US-backed Gaza plan

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel has not agreed to the latest US-backed ceasefire proposal for Gaza. His remarks cast new doubt on hopes of ending the conflict, which has lasted three years. US President Donald Trump announced the deal last week and called it a “major milestone.” The proposal would involve phased disarmament of militant groups and a complete Israeli withdrawal. Hamas has previously said it would surrender its weapons only after Israel withdraws first.
