WorldLebanon and Israel begin second day of talks in Rome

Lebanon and Israel are set to enter a second day of negotiations in Rome. The discussions form part of a second round that followed a framework agreement signed in June. Lebanon is demanding that Israel withdraw its occupying military from the country’s south. Israel says its troops will leave only after the Lebanese military disarms Hezbollah. Hezbollah is not taking part in the talks. Al Jazeera correspondent Zeina Khodr is reporting live from southern Lebanon.
