SocietyJanil Puthucheary responds to questions on O-Level English oral exam discrepancies

Singapore’s Senior Minister of State for Education Janil Puthucheary said the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board had completed its review of reported discrepancies in the July GCE O-Level English oral examinations. The board concluded that the issue was neither a technical problem nor the result of a deliberate or malicious act. During the July 15 exam, some candidates reportedly saw questions on their screens that differed from those displayed to oral examiners. Puthucheary addressed MPs’ questions in Parliament.
