WorldEurope battles wildfires and severe drought at the same time

Parts of Europe are fighting intense wildfires driven by heatwaves, while other areas are experiencing severe drought. In Hungary, falling water levels on the Danube have compelled the government to scale back operations at the Paks nuclear power plant. The situation highlights the simultaneous pressure from fire and water scarcity across the region, as well as the effect of low river levels on energy operations.
