WorldGaza holds funeral for 112 members of two families killed in Israeli airstrikes

Palestinians in Gaza City have held a mass funeral for 112 members of the Abu Sharia and al-Hassayna families. Their bodies were recovered only after airstrikes in Gaza in 2023. Relatives said Israeli aircraft hit residential buildings belonging to the families in the Sabra neighborhood. At the time, Israel’s military said its forces were targeting Hamas command centers, tunnels, weapons facilities, launch positions and armed cells.
