# Gaza’s tech workers rebuild their lives online

> Ten months after a US-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, much of the agreement’s promise remains unfulfilled. Hamas has not disarmed, while Israeli forces continue to bomb Gaza almost daily. Most people in Gaza are still living in tent camps or amid the ruins of partly destroyed homes. Even under these exceptionally difficult conditions, some technology workers are using laptops to stay connected with the outside world and try to earn a living.
