> Treasury Secretary Bessent said the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz may have a chance for a breakthrough, with an agreement to reopen the waterway possibly reached soon. Secretary of State Rubio said talks between the United States and Iran over the strait had made progress, but described the denuclearization of Iran’s regime as the “final agreement.” Officials from Russia and Ukraine said airstrikes and drone attacks had killed civilians on both sides.
