> Officials say the death toll from Russia’s Monday bombing of an aid distribution point in southeastern Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region has risen to 42, with dozens still missing. It is among the year’s deadliest strikes on civilians, coming a day after a US-brokered local ceasefire ended and less than a week before planned US-hosted talks between Ukrainian and Russian delegations in Abu Dhabi.
