At TOKEN2049 Singapore, The Block spoke with DogeOS founder Jordan Jefferson and ecosystem head Alex Hoff following the public testnet launch. Jefferson said Dogecoin handles about $1 trillion in annual spot and perpetuals volume, but almost none of it occurs on-chain. DogeOS aims to build an ecosystem of apps, DeFi, games and payments, with the goal of competing with Ethereum and Solana by 2027.
