EconomyGoogle commits another US$15 billion to expand Malaysian data centre operations

Google has pledged another US$15 billion to expand its data centre operations in Malaysia, sustain 9,000 jobs a year and upskill 800,000 Malaysians over five years. It also set out plans for more sustainable operations as data centres’ heavy electricity and water use draws greater scrutiny.
