PoliticsGrace Fu calls for stronger laws to tackle transboundary haze

Singapore’s recent severe haze episode showed that the status quo could not continue, Sustainability and the Environment Minister Grace Fu told Parliament on Wednesday. She said laws should be strengthened to better establish responsibility, impose meaningful consequences on errant entities and enable intervention before haze reaches Singapore.
