Ontario’s police watchdog, the SIU, is investigating after a 19-year-old died from a self-inflicted gunshot inside a student residence at the University of Toronto Mississauga on Monday night. The university ordered students near McLuhan Court to shelter in place as police responded. Investigators believe the man was not a student and had been visiting someone he knew.
