# Supermarket freezers in seven European countries hit by cyber-attack

> Dozens of supermarkets in seven European countries were affected by a cyber-attack on their refrigerators and freezers. About 40 Delhaize stores in Belgium and Luxembourg were hit, along with smaller numbers in Sweden, Ireland, the Netherlands, Estonia and Finland. Belgian manufacturer Sabcobel said some evaporators were switched to defrost mode, causing temperatures to rise.
