WorldGermany is rearming. Are young people ready to serve?

Military service has divided Germany, with some people able to imagine serving and others firmly opposed. Germany aims to build the Bundeswehr into Europe’s strongest conventional military in response to the growing threat from Russia. It has ordered 4 billion euros’ worth of equipment, but troop numbers have stagnated, renewing discussion of reinstating conscription.
