SportsFrance: 115 yachts set to depart Saint-Malo for Route du Rhum race

The legendary Route du Rhum is preparing to start in Saint-Malo, in France’s Brittany region. Billed as the world’s biggest solo transatlantic race, it sends skippers alone from France’s northern coast to Guadeloupe in a high-speed, high-risk crossing held every four years.
